Reginald S. Forté
Founder & Principal Consultant, Liaison Consulting Firm
My career has repeatedly placed me at the intersection of property owners, managers, contractors, vendors, inspectors, boards, and other professionals responsible for moving property decisions forward. That experience shaped Liaison Consulting Firm. Today, I lead LCF’s advisory strategy and provide subject-matter guidance across commercial property, loss control, operational risk, and real estate decision support—helping clients organize information, identify unanswered questions, and determine what should happen next.

A Career Built Around Connecting the Moving Parts.
THE EXPERIENCE BEHIND LIAISON
Before Liaison Consulting Firm had a name, the work already had a pattern. My career has included property and asset management, community association operations, capital improvement oversight, construction coordination, hospitality leadership, field documentation, and project management. Across those roles, the responsibility was rarely limited to one task. It often meant understanding what the owner needed, what the manager knew, what the contractor was proposing, what the property was showing, and what information was still missing. That experience became the foundation for Liaison Consulting Firm.
01
PROPERTY & ASSET OPERATIONS
Managing occupied properties requires more than understanding buildings. It requires balancing maintenance, budgets, vendors, residents, capital needs, documentation, and ownership priorities.
02
COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION LEADERSHIP
Leadership within professional community association management provided firsthand experience with boards, managers, vendors, property concerns, service delivery, and the operational realities behind association decisions.
03
PROJECTS, CONTRACTORS & CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS
Construction coordination and capital-project oversight built practical experience with scopes, field conditions, contractors, corrective work, project documentation, and the questions that arise when plans meet real properties.
04
HOSPITALITY & OPERATIONAL ENVIRONMENTS
Years in hospitality leadership developed a strong understanding of active facilities, commercial kitchens, safety routines, maintenance practices, staff operations, workflow, housekeeping, and day-to-day operational risk.
Different industries. Different properties. The same recurring need: connect the information, the people, and the next decision.
The Value Was Never Knowing Everything. It Was Knowing How to Connect What Mattered.
WHY LIAISON?
WHY IKNOWPEOPLE.BIZ?
The web address came from the same philosophy. ‘I know people’ does not mean one person has every answer. It means understanding that good decisions often require the right combination of people, knowledge, experience, and perspective. Sometimes the value LCF provides is the analysis itself. Sometimes it is identifying the unanswered question. Sometimes it is recognizing that another qualified professional needs to become involved. The name Liaison and the address iKnowPeople.biz express the same idea: You do not have to know everything. You need to know how to connect what matters.
Throughout my career, I often found myself between the people responsible for different parts of the same property decision. An owner might understand the objective. A manager might know the property history. A contractor might understand the repair. An inspector might identify the condition. A specialist might understand the technical issue. The challenge was often not a lack of information. It was getting the right information, the right people, and the right questions into the same conversation. That is the idea behind Liaison Consulting Firm. LCF exists to help organize what is known, clarify what remains unanswered, document what matters, and help clients determine what should happen next.
That is the Liaison.
Strategic Leadership. Organized Operations.

THE LCF PHILOSOPHY
Observe. Document. Clarify. Act.
Good property decisions begin with understanding what is actually known. LCF approaches each engagement by observing the available conditions and information, documenting what matters, clarifying unanswered questions, and helping identify the appropriate next step. The goal is not to make every decision for the client. It is to provide better information, clearer context, and a more organized path forward.
Clarity does not mean having every answer. It means knowing what you know, what you don’t, and what should happen next.
