FAQ
Q: What is Liaison Consulting Firm?
LCF provides Third-Party Post-Inspection decision support—we translate inspection findings into priorities, planning ranges, and next steps (without becoming the inspector or the contractor).
Q: What do I get?
A written report, plus audio and/or video explanation, plus a clear decision summary so you know what matters, what doesn’t, and what to do next.
Q: How does it work?
Simple flow: Purchase → Upload → Receive decision-ready clarity.
Q: Is this a contractor quote / bid / estimate?
No. LCF produces planning-level ranges and phase caps—not bids, quotes, or guaranteed pricing.
Q: What if I don’t have an inspection report?
Our work is based on your existing inspection report and materials provided. If you don’t have a report yet, the best next step is to schedule an inspection first, then upload it for review.
Q: Can LCF direct me to a home inspector if I don’t have an inspection report?
Yes—upon request, we can share independent home inspector options so you can get the inspection scheduled. You can always choose any inspector you prefer. (LCF is not the inspector and does not control the inspection process.)
Q: Do home inspectors use your reports to offer clarity to their clients?
Yes. Some inspectors offer an LCF companion review for clients who want clearer “what now?” guidance—without changing the inspection record.
Q: Is the report delivered as a phone call or a document?
Document first—always. Calls come after the facts are known, and there’s no verbal-only guidance.
Q: Can you connect me to a trade service for repairs?
Yes—after you receive the report, you’ll always get the Choice Moment:
-
use your own contractors,
-
request independent referrals, or
-
request a separate bid from Liaison Trades & Services (affiliated company).
Q: Do you accept referral fees for recommending a trade service?
No—no referral fees, ever, because it makes recommendations suspect.

Q: Do I have to use Liaison Trades & Services (or any referral)?
No. If an affiliated company is mentioned, it must be stated clearly—and you are never required to use them (or any referral).

Q: Do you do site visits, re-inspections, code compliance, or engineering evaluations?
No. The review excludes site visits, destructive testing, code compliance verification, engineering analysis, and any warranty of condition.

Q: Can you help me compare contractor proposals after the report?
Yes—LCF can help you compare scope, exclusions, and “apples-to-apples” differences so you can make a confident decision.
(This stays in the decision-support lane.)

Q: Can I share the report with my agent, lender, or contractor?
Yes—share it for planning and negotiation, but it shouldn’t be represented as a contractor proposal, engineering report, or guarantee of condition.

Legal & Limitations
This report is Third-Party decision support based solely on the inspection report and materials provided. It is not a home inspection, engineering evaluation, or contractor bid. All cost figures are planning-level ranges—not quotes, bids, or guaranteed pricing. You may use any contractor, and you are never required to use any referral or affiliated provider.
